Just minutes after Ready Cash succeeded to win his second consecutive Prix d'Amerique, we are giving you all a snap shot of the photo finish.

Ready Cash (Frank Nivard) was first infornt of Roxane Griff (Eric Raffin), The Best Madrik (J.E.Dubois), Maharajah (Orjan Khilstrom) and Timoko (Richard Westerink).

The Malta Racing Club reminds that it still hold the right to do any necessary changes even if these will be done only when necessary.

Yesterday on the 21st January 2011 Malta Trot Racing Website reached a New Target.

Our counter reached the 1 Million Hits which means that we had one Million accesses to the our website. Since our launch on the 5th February 2008 we have been giving you all the best in updates and information about the Horse Racing scene in Malta with an emphasis on Trot Racing.

Needless to say that we are very proud of reaching this long envisaged target. It is surely a certificate that attests that our followers are still finding our website interesting and informative.

Our website has been evolving throughout the past years and we never stopped on improving our product for all horse racing enthusiasts who follow us. Today we are happy to announce our latest improvement - a revamp in the statistics on our website.

In the Horses' Information Cards you will now be able to see the statistics for all the years in which the horse was active in our country and not only a maximum of 4 years as it used to be. For this reason all horses who ran since the year 2007 will have their statistics available for you to see.

We also introduced yearly statistics to the Drivers' Information Cards. When a search for a driver will be carried out, the Information Card of the driver chosen will now have the yearly statistics of the named driver. The statistics will have display the number of races in which the driver participated (Starts), the placings obtained, and WE ARE NOW ALSO INTRODUCING the number of different horses driven during that particular year and also the total amount of money won by that driver.

We hope that these improvements help you all to follow better the Horses and Drivers of your choice and that you continue finding our website the best in information dissemination about Horse Racing in Malta.

During the past 2 days we worked hard to catch up with some work we had to do in updating our website.

We now inputted Meeting 60 from 2011 with The Pavo Feeds Mile Cup and also the V.O.B. Grand Final held on the 30th December.

We also have a new Photographic Feature posted in our Gallery from the Autumn Championships sponsored by Cassar Fuels.

During the past night we succeeded to come readjust all points for all horses in our database. For this reason we should now be in line with the official Handicap Points for Trotters as issued by the Malta Racing Club for the start of the year 2012.

Today we will also be uploading all the races for the next weekend. These are Meeting 1 held on Saturday 14th January and Meeting 2 to be held on the 15th January 2012.

Due to the reclassification of horses (a reduction of 10% in their handicap points) for horses who;
1) failed to win at least once or to place in at least 4 of the races they ran during the year 2011 or
2) who were not able to place at least once in their year of debut 2011,
we have to make changes to the points in many horses in our database.

At the time being we are working on checking the points of all 1,755 horses in our database. When this check and necessary editing is done we will be able to post the races for next Saturday and Sunday.
